I want to see all of these movies. I think I might die if I don't see them (or at least La Vie En Rose and Persepolis). Click on the poster if you want to know more about the movie.
Did you know Persepolis was originally a graphic novel, much like Speigelman's Maus (which redepicts the Holocaust but with mice rather than people)? Anyway, Nigel and I watched the trailers for all of these, and we decided that we need to see them. I've wanted to see Across the Universe since I first saw the previews.
FYI - Across the Universe wasn't as good as I had hoped. So go in with lower expectations, and you might love it! Ha ha ha. There are a few questionable parts too...
Whitney is 100% right, I was about to write pretty much the same thing.
The main story isn't very strong, so it feels like they are just trying to get through as many songs as they can before the end. (I usually like everything I watch, and I didn't really like this one. The girl I was with LOVED it though... so... ???)
